We love her because she displayed sheer strength and courage in trying times. She is a beacon of hope for anyone going through any type of challenges. If you know her story, you will fall in love with her. Little wonder she has 145million followers on Instagram. She is iconic and most importantly strong.
Selena Gomez was diagnosed with lupus sometime between 2012 and early 2014. On September 14, 2017, she announced via Instagram that she had withdrawn from public events during the previous few months because she had received a kidney transplant from actress and friend Francia Raisa. During the transplant, Gomez broke an artery. An emergency surgery was conducted to build a new artery using a vein from her leg.
Despite her mental and physical health, Selena Gomez has continued to move to greater heights in her career.
