Fashion never goes out of fashion because here is what most people don’t know about fashion. Nothing in vogue goes out of vogue, it just stays away for a couple of years and resurfaces in another form. Some nights ago, I settled down to a 1984 movie called Footloose and I immediately noticed the dress of the lead actress Lori Singer known as Ariel Moore.  It was an off-shoulder cape long dress. And you know what’s amazing that same style created about 33 years ago is back. This time, better, bolder and in different forms. But its the same.

I know this would sound hilarious, but if you had that exact dress in 1984 you can still rock it and no one would be able to tell the difference.

Off the shoulder crop tops were also a thing for fashionable girls in 1984. Madonna rocked it in borderline and guess what? it is back in 2017.

Off the shoulder crop tops are at the forefront  of the different shades of crop tops. There are also off the shoulder normal length tops and I can conveniently say that show me a lady and I shall show you a woman with an off the shoulder long dress or top or crop top.

O  la la it is off the shoulder all the way as it never goes out of fashion.

So next time, perhaps in some few years from now or even next year some over zealous self acclaimed fashionista tells you to loose your off the shoulder dress or tops simply because it has gone out of style. Just say “Off- shoulder dresses never goes out of fashion.” Whether it is a plain short cape off the shoulder dress or an off the shoulder crop top, or a long cape off the shoulder dress or an off the shoulder normal length top or an ankara off the shoulder dress or top. It is surely a keeper.
