“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand…”

(Joshua 5: 13)

In our Focal Scripture, Joshua was not yet in Jericho; he was standing by Jericho. Jericho was God’s promise, and Joshua came close to it. He came close to his portion. He came close to what God had in store for him. He came close to divine provision. He came close to his next level. He came close to his breakthrough.

Joshua later stepped into Jericho. He not only came close to his portion, he also possessed his portion; he not only came close to his breakthrough, he got his breakthrough; he not only came close to God’s promise, he possessed the promise of God. God’s promise became his reality.
Friend, as you come close to your wealthy place this year, God says you will step into it. As you come close to your next level, you will step into it; as you come close to your divine visitation, it will become your reality; as you come close to your breakthroughs, promotion, testimonies, miracles, opportunities, etc, God says, you will possess it.
Some people saw the Promised Land and never entered into it; but for Joshua, he came close and also entered. God says, this year, you will not be counted among those who came close but never entered in. It won’t be said that came close to success and never succeeded.

God’s plan is not to bring you close without taking you in; this year, as you tag along with God, He will bring you into your portion.

Deuteronomy 1 vs. 21 says: “Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.”

Declare With Me: As I come close to my Wealthy Place, I shall enter in and possess my possession, in Jesus’ name!
