God's plan

I have been overwhelmed but not consumed by the many problems besetting the livestock industry; I guess that other sectors of our economy must be having the same experience. In spite of everything that is happening around us and all the unpleasant utterances coming out from government officials, I know that God has a plan for us. He created us with a purpose in mind, and in order to fulfill that purpose, we must be attentive to His will, but how do we know God has a plan?
God declared to us in Jeremiah 29:11-14 that *For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the Lord. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers. When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul, I will make myself available to you,’ says the Lord. ‘Then I will reverse your plight*
This is one of the many promises God made to us and everything God does for us, He does for our eternal benefit, it is all planned out, with divine ingenuity, that the circumstances of our lives would lead us to God’s will, so let’s make conscious effort to obey His will and humbly submit to it. This way, we may live for God’s purpose and fulfill His plan for us.
We are the clay, and He is the potter, so we should allow Him to mould our lives and bring it all together for good. We should let God shape who we are, what we would become and what we should do. After all,  when you create something, don’t you have the right to do what you want with it?
Likewise, God has the right to do whatever He wants with us, so surrender to Him, that His will may be done in our lives. Most at times, we are usually inclined to follow our own reasoning, notwithstanding we should endeavour to submit to God in everything.
We should note that it not everything that God calls us to do will make sense. Much of it won’t because it requires blind faith. He ask Hosea to marry a harlot and he did.
I pray that God will grant us the grace and enablement to carry out his every will for our lives in Jesus name.
Good morning and as  have a gbaladun (enjoyable) Saturday, keep God in your heart.
