Okafor’s Law, is the story of an unrepentant player Chuks (a.k.a. Terminator) who believes that once a man has had sex with a woman, he can always have sex with her, no matter the circumstances. As a result of this belief he made a bet with his friends to prove the universality of his theory that he can have sex with three of his ex-lovers from his school days within 21 days.
Chuks turned on his best charm as he sets off to try and prove himself, but his quest brings him to three women, Ifeoma (Ify), Tomi and Ejiro, whose situations in life have changed drastically since school days. This challenge of their various new status makes his quest to win the bet more and more insurmountable as he tries to prove the immutability of the age-old law, OKAFOR’S Law.
Hi, I think this is a must watch, because I said so. lol! Kidding. It is a must watch because it was featured in the just concluded Toronto International Film Festival. (#TIFF16) and it is also produced and directed by Omoni Oboli, the producer and director of “Wives On Strike” which was the third most successful nollywood movie ever in Cinema. Every actor has a good thing to say about Okafor’s Law and I am sure the movie won’t disappoint our large and ever growing appetite for good entertainment.
Okafor’s Law had actors and actresses like Omoni Oboli, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ufuoma McDermott, Toyin Aimakhu, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ken Erics, Gabriel Afolayan, Lala Akindoju, Halima Abubakar, Mary Lazarus, Yvonne Jegede, Betty Iraboh, Uche Nnaji. And of course Omoni Oboli produced and directed it.
Here is the trailer, watch it and make your decision on if it is yes or a nay. As for me, it is definitely a yes.
I remain your movie girl.
