Nick Gordon has been found  legally responsible for the death of his ex-girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown by a Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford, reports 11 Alive News. Gordon was scheduled to appear in court Friday but did not show up. It was the second time he did so.

Judge T. Jackson Bedford said because Gordon has failed to appear twice, anything alleged by the plaintiff is admitted through omission,” Vanity fair reported.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was found unresponsive in her Roswell, Georgia, home in January 2015, died several months later in August after being kept on life support. In March of this year, a Georgia judge ordered for the release of the autopsy results, which revealed marijuana, alcohol, a cocaine byproduct, medications that sedate people and treat anxiety, and morphine.

Bedelia Hargrove, Bobbi Kristina’s estate conservator, filed a lawsuit, which originally sought $50 million in damages, against Gordon in June 2015. “I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured,” she told People via Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law and former manager, Pat Houston’s, lawyer.

“This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina,” she added. “We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift.”

Although this news comes more than a year later, David Ware, a lawyer for Hargrove, said they are satisfied with the ruling reports Vanity fair.
