A housewife, Fatimoh Olanrewaju has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly breaking the arms and legs of her 5-year-old stepson, Iyanu. The boy also had injuries on his head.

The crime was committed on Thursday, August 11 at Onihale village along the old Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway.
Iyanu’s biological mother was reported to have divorced his father in 2014.

Fatimoh, it was said, was in the habit of maltreating Iyanu since he started living with them after the divorce. The neighbours had to invite the police after the attack that left the child with a broken arm and leg
Iyanu is currently on admission at Federal Medical Centre, Idi Aba, Abeokuta.

Confirming the report, the Ogun State acting Police Public Relations Officers, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect is in custody of the Anti-Human Trafficking Department of the Command.
