2016 is a great year for Nigerian entertainment but amid the greatness there have been times of sorrow with 6 celebrities having died so far.

Music producer OJB Jezreel battled a kidney disease for the last decade he spent on health.

OJB had a kidney transplant in India in 2014 only for him to give up the ghost 2 years later. The producer popularly called Jiggaman eventually gave up the ghost June 26th 2016

NOMORELOSS

Musician and music critic Nomoreloss also died in 2016.

The singer is said to have been battling an undisclosed illness since the turn of the year. Nomoreloss died March 21 in a hospital in Lagos

Buzzing actress Genevieve Nene died at the point her career started booming.

Genevieve according to reports died in Lagos after battling illness for many months. Words are that he died May 3rd 2016.

Bukky Ajayi

BUKKY AJAYI

Legendary actress Bukky died last month, July 6th at the age of 82 her residence in Surulere, Lagos.

According to her children, she died of an illness. She was buried the same day as she was a Muslim.

Actress Henrietta Kosoko died June 6th. The actress is said to have died after collapsing on that faithful day. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Henrietta is wife of legendary actor Jide Kosoko. She was buried 4 days later June 10th.

Mile Odachie also kicked the bucket in 2016. The actor is famed for his roles in Eastern-themed Nollywood movies.
