Today, we take a look at an actor per excellence, an expert in his field and an icon worthy of emulation in the movie industry. He represents the perfect man, handsome, articulate, smart and successful.
As he clocked 55, we all know that he was born on 6 July, 1961 and we all know that the initials RMD stands for Richard Mofe Damijo, a Deltan who believed that he could break into other industries capitalizing on his charms, good looks and popularity he already gained in the movie industry. He became a lawyer at the age of 43 and became a politician afterwards.
And when he lost his wife May Ellen Ezekiel (MEE) rather than sinking into depression, he pushed himself up and continued with life in unimaginable ways. He re-married Jumobi Adegbesan in 2000 and had 4 children from the union.
He remained an actor after his adventures to the legal profession and the political arena seem over. In 2005 he won the best actor in a leading role in the Africa Movie Academy Award and this year in June, he won a lifetime award in the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
