​According to USA of Today, Inquisitr, BBC and Associated Press  a suspected suicide bomber carried out an attack early Monday near the U.S. consulate in the Saudi city of Jeddah.The attacker is the only one reported killed.

Two law enforcement officers were injured in the attack. The attacker was apparently headed in a car toward a mosque near the U.S. consulate, but most of the consulate’s staff have moved its offices to a new location.

The attack comes on the same date that the United States celebrates Independence Day. For details visit USA today
