According to Today, Ogun State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has embarked on demolition of houses, shops and other structures erected on pipelines’ right-of-way in the state.

The exercise, which began on Friday, covers gas pipelines located around Oju-Ore in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.

‎The state Public Relations Officer of NSCDC, Kareem Olanrewaju, said in a statement issued Sunday, that the demolition was to prevent monumental disaster. For details visit Today
