The Lagos State Governor was  on air via TVC yesterday being July 1,2016 to announce that the laws on Street Trading in Lagos State will be strictly implemented.

Now both  Seller and Buyer are equally guilty and the penalty is 90,000naira  or 6 months imprisonment or both.

Lagosians kindly  abstain from buying items in all circumstances from Street Hawkers.

This announcement is coming in the light of the death of a Street Hawker at Ilupeju expressway, when he was allegedly crushed by a BRT bus during the week.
